BestStart Warrington  

BestStart Warrington (formerly EduKids Warrington) is an early learning childcare centre located just ten minutes from the centre of Christchurch, on the corner of Warrington Street and Hills Road. We cater for children aged 3 months to 5-years-old.

What makes us special

• New learning spaces. We have had new design  upgrades, brand new custom-made furniture and resources to suit our 3 age specific classrooms.

• Nutritious meals. Morning tea and afternoon tea consist of sandwiches, scones, muffins and fruit. We can accommodate most special dietary needs of the children. Not only food allergies, we also respect cultural food-diversity in all different societies.

• Multicultural. We have a diverse group of students and teachers. We have a strong community focus as we have been part of the Shirley community for many years before moving to our new centre.

• Home-like environment. Our warm, home-like environment gives the children a sense of security and we have formed great relationships with our families. 

What a day at our centre looks like

Our daily programme is a combination of self-directed time and group time with the support of a teacher. We believe children should have the opportunity to learn alone and through interaction with adults. We spend time thoroughly preparing children for school to support a smooth transition.
