BestStart Ngatai Road  

BestStart Ngatai Road (formerly TopKids Ngatai Road) is a quality childcare centre in Otumoetai convenient to the Tauranga CBD. Children from suburbs including Otumoetai, Matua and Pillians Point attend our centre.

We have a spacious property with a beautifully designed building. Our large outdoor area features a magnificent cherry tree, which provides plenty of shade in the summer. At BestStart Ngatai Road, our teaching teams are committed to ensuring that your child grows and develops in an environment that is safe and nurturing.

We have two separate rooms, TopTots and TopKids.

Our TopTots Room welcomes children aged from 3 months to 2 ½ years old.  We follow care routines from home to make the transition to the centre environment a smooth process for both the child and parents. Our activities are broad and are based on children’s interests, developing needs and fun. We work closely with our TopKids room to provide a transition programme that meets the needs of all children.

Our TopKids room is for children aged from 2 years until they leave for school. We incorporate our Be School Ready principles into our everyday experiences with the goal of supporting children in a holistic way. We provide an environment that is respectful, supportive, educational and challenging.  Our children are encouraged to be leaders in their environment by supporting others with self-help skills, settling, relationships and education.

We understand the importance of healthy food for children. We have a wonderful cook on site who recognises the need for good nutrition and exercise to help your child’s progress.
