BestStart Doncaster Drive Kindy (formerly ABC Papamoa) early learning centre is situated centrally in beautiful Papamoa, located across the road from Te Akau Ki Papamoa Primary School.

Our teaching team are enthusiastic, passionate and qualified teachers. We work collaboratively to provide a meaningful and engaged environment and curriculum. Our relationships with children, parents and whanau are vital to our centre community.

Preparing our children for school - At BestStart Doncaster Drive Kindy we believe in preparing our children through all elements of Te Whariki to be valued members of society. We understand the importance of preparing children in the best way possible to take the next step in their learning journey throughout their lives. We have a great relationship with Te Akau Ki Papamoa where we do weekly transition visits leading up to your child’s 5th birthday.

About our centre - Our education and care centre caters for children 2-5 years old, providing full time, morning and afternoon sessions. Our environment is inclusive and promotes learning through the children’s interests and individual goals. Through collaboration with parents we support each individual child on their learning journey. We also have a focus on project work, which supports children’s learning and inquiry through their interests
