BestStart Maich Road (formerly First Steps Maich) is a lovely education and childcare centre located in a quiet residential area in the heart of Manurewa. The spacious outdoor areas with natural trees and shade provide many opportunities for children to play, learn and relax with their friends. Maich Road caters for children from 3 months to 5 years in four rooms suitable for different age groups. Our team are known for their friendly, welcoming manner and provide interaction in a safe, stimulating and challenging environment.

As a team we believe parents are first teachers for their children and we strive to work in partnership with you for the best outcomes for your child. Our staff develop warm, reciprocal relationships between teachers, parents and children, ensuring children have a strong sense of security when they start their journey with us.

Our unique Be School Ready initiative has been developed to ensure that children leave the centre as confident, capable learners and prepared for the next step in their education journey.
