Are you an educator interested in developing your professional skills in working with children with additional learning needs? If so, then consider applying for one of the Ministry of Education’s Learning Support Study Awards.

The Ministry of Education offers Learning Support study awards to teachers in early learning services and schools as well as scholarships to support people undertaking specific specialist courses.

These awards and scholarships are offered to ensure the ongoing availability of a workforce with the appropriate specialist skills, knowledge and qualifications to support children and young people with additional learning needs.

Award recipients are eligible for funding that can include paid tuition fees, study leave and contributions toward travel and accommodation.

The table below outlines the awards available in this year’s round:
