We are proud to say it's been just over six months since we launched CareforKids.co.nz and it's been an exciting journey. You can read what we've achieved so far in our 6-monthly Report Card.

At CareforKids.co.nz we're more interested in the future than the past, and we are writing to tell you what we have planned for the next six months and to reaffirm our commitment to supporting you and to help you with filling vacancies, managing waitlists and promoting your services easily and more effectively.

We know that parents love up-to-date fee and vacancy information on provider profiles and to make it easier for you to supply these details, we are about to switch on our reminder emails.

] When you receive an email simply click the link embedded to confirm or change the details, there's no need for a password as you will be logged in automatically, and it only takes a couple of seconds. It really is that easy.

We reward services that keep their details up-to-date with higher rankings in our search results, and maintaining an up-to-date profile on CareforKids.co.nz may also reduce your administrative workload by reducing calls to you if your service is full.

We are also writing to let you know about our Child Care Connect service, which bridges the gap between early childhood services and parents looking for care by leveraging the powerful CareforKids.co.nz database to generate connections between providers with current vacancies and parents whose care requirements match those vacancies.

The Child Care Connect system will send alerts anytime a parent with a new care requirement registers with us. On a pay-per-use basis, you can choose to view the lead to offer the family a tour or a spot, or you can ignore the alert, there's no upfront financial commitment. You can learn more about Child Care Connect here , and you can email support@careforkids.co.nz.

We will be making these services available on September 16, 2019, and if you have any objections or would prefer to opt-out of any of these services, please let us know before this time.

It's been a privilege working so closely with such a committed and experienced community of early childhood educators over the last six months, and we greatly look forward to strengthening our relationship with you in the future.
